We believe in a Permit Based System unlike some other concealed carry advocates. We believe we have a responsibility to the people of Wisconsin and to their fellow man to learn the laws of concealed carry, and the principles govern confrontations.
In receiving a license to carry a concealed weapon for lawful self-defense, you are undertaking a great responsibility. A license to carry a concealed weapon is not a license to use it. I am sure you share my hope that you will never find it necessary to use a weapon in self-defense. If you do, the law will protect you only if you have acted within the law. Those who are choosing to arm themselves with weapons should, therefore, be armed with the most indispensable weapon of all knowledge.

The Concealed Carry idea does not mean everyone will be carrying guns as many think, it is a law that allows us our second amendment rights to bear arms, this made us a FREE Country. Not everyone chooses to bear arms.
Concealed Carry is a deterrent to crime, where as the criminal has no idea if his planned victim has a concealed weapon or not on his person. This deters the criminal from making that person his victim. Psychologically..and it is a powerful deterrent and they think twice.
